Tickets are now on sale!
We have 120 tickets available for the full weekend, including camping and workshops.
There may be a limited number of day tickets available nearer the event.
Going ahead with the festival is not without risk as insurers will not offer any cancellation insurance in the event of a return to Covid restrictions. We are already committed to up-front expenses for 2021 and to put it bluntly if we were to lose the sums already paid out and likely to be incurred before the festival starts we could not afford to put SSS on again.
Here’s where we have to ask for your support. When buying a ticket for SSS2021 we will be asking you to accept that in the event of cancellation we would not be able to offer you a full refund.
The exact percentage we retain will depend on how last minute the cancellation occurs – it could be up to 50%. (it will not be more than 50%.) Obviously we earnestly hope this doesn’t happen – but if it does there may be some generous folk who are prepared to forgo any refund at all and of course this will reduce the percentage we need to take from everyone else.
In effect we are asking you to share in our risk, but in return we will be automatically entering everyone who buys a ticket into a raffle to win a fabulous Islander Ash leaf banjo - one of only a very limited edition built by Brighton luthier Malcolm Mcleod worth at least £800 and a lifetime of banjo fun!
We will draw the raffle whether the festival takes place or not - so some lucky ticket holder will take home this beautiful banjo in its hard carrying case.
