Can I camp next to my car?
It is possible, if absolutely necessary... but it would be preferable for people to unload and leave vehicles in the car parking area. Space in the campsite is limited. We will be providing trolleys for taking tents etc down to the camping area.
The ‘secret’ field on the top level behind the chestnut trees will be for car-free camping only. The lower field is for general camping – tents/awnings and small campervans (no bigger than VWs).
Can I bring a camper van? Or a caravan?
Yes - there are areas for both of these, though large bus-scale mobile homes may struggle to access the farm on small rural lanes. There will be a tractor on standby in case the field is wet! Caravans will be in the field to the right of the entrance where manoeuvering towed vehicles will be much simpler.
Will there be food available to buy?
Yes! Erika from Moveable Feasts is back by popular demand, with delicious home-made meals available for breakfast, lunch and dinner too, plus afternoon coffee, tea and cakes. Either cash or cards may be used to pay. Erika avoids single-use waste by serving on real plates and cutlery, but washing-up isn't easy on site so it helps if you can please bring your own when possible. |
And drink? The Bar will be serving Bitter and Golden Ale from our local (three miles away) Greyhound Brewery - as well as cider and other delicious refreshment. |
Can I bring my dog?
Yes - we welcome well-behaved dogs but ask that their owners do not let them wander off lead (this is a working farm) and ‘clean up' after them. They are not allowed in to the house.
Can I arrive early?
No, the campsite opens at noon on Friday. Please don't arrive earlier, as you will need to wait outside til the gate opens!
Can I stay later than 4.00pm on Sunday?
Yes - but you will get roped into helping us clear up!

Can I pay for merchandise and beer by card? Yes... we have a card machine though of course cash is always most reliable. Will there be somewhere under cover for sessions in case it’s wet? Yes. there are several spaces ideal for getting together. The cafe area has a roof (although open on one side to the elements). The barn and the yurt and the garden marquee will be available when not in use for workshops. |
Can we jam all night?
Yes - but please have consideration for other festival goers so avoid the campsite after 11.00pm. The most soundproof space for really late/early sessions is the barn.
Can I light a fire?
No fires on the campsite. There will be three communal fires: one on the campsite next to the yurt, and two in the yard near the cafe for a bit of warmth in the evenings.
Any barbecues must be raised off the ground and supervised, and have a bucket of water nearby. No disposable barbecues.
Do you need any help?
How kind of you to ask! If you'd be willing to put in an hour or two (in exchange for beer token) on reception, directing folks to camping area, etc please do email us.
